CCAC is a Michigan nonprofit corporation dedicated to enriching the mind, body and spirit of individuals of all ages by providing educational, cultural and physical activity opportunities in the Curtis area.
For twenty-six years, through the cooperation of property owners Clarence & Velma Walsh, | | the Curtis community has had the use of a forty acre parcel of land. | The Park Center Enlightening the lives of individuals of all ages. The Center offers theatrical workshops, art exhibits, weaving classes, wood carving classes, yoga sessions, pottery classes, musical entertainment, photography exhibits & workshops, a Wellness Center for physical | fitness and more! The Park Center is a hub of activity and learning.  | The Curtis Park Festivities This property has been the center of many great festivities! The Independence Day Celebrations - "Michigan's Biggest Little Town Parade" and Art On The Lake held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Paintings by Betty Pyne of Lakefield are currently on display, downstairs at the Curtis Park Center. Artwork may be viewed during Wellness Center hours. Open House at the Erickson Cultural Center - June 7th, 2008 Noon - 4:00 pm Parade with Finn & Fern. Entertainment to include bagpipes by Don Mills, Dance performance by Footlight Dance Theatre, singing by Hunter Buckingham, demonstrations and information about current CCAC activities and events. Plus more! Grand Opening performance at the Erickson Cultural Center - June 8, 2008 - Marquette Male Chorus "How Can We Keep from Singing" performs at 2:00 pm - will include songs, solos and bell ringing. Cost $5 per person donation. Dance Workshop - June 13, 2008 - a summer dance experience for area youth K-12 presented by MACK Dance Consultants. Taught by Marilyn Kahl.
